14 Inside Outdoor | SUMMER 2021 Rab Names New Rocky Mountain Reps Rosenberger to Lead GSG Action Outdoor Category Rab, a sustainable outdoor gear and apparel brand, has named Stephen Nance and Corbin Biehler of Colorado-based Freestone Sales Group as the company’s new sales reps for the Rocky Mountain Region. Nance and Biehler both have served as principals of the Freestone Sales Group since the company’s inception in 2019, and each one has extensive familiarity with Rab’s expanding line of products as well as personal relationships with Rab’s vast network of regional sales representatives, said Rab. They will oversee sales in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming. Prior to co-founding Freestone Sales Group in 2019, Nance spent six years managing the outdoor category at Colorado-based sales rep agency The Raven Workshop, representing Ibex Clothing, among other outdoor brands. He also spent three years as a manager at Neptune Mountaineering, the celebrated outdoor specialty shop in Boulder, Colo. Prior to co-founding Freestone Sales Group with Nance, Biehler spent more than six years as a sales representative for California-based Inter- mountain Trading Company, Inc., representing brands such as KÜHL, Earthwell and ULU Footwear across seven states. The addition of Nance and Biehler indicates an ambitious year ahead for Rab, said the brand, which in December 2020 named Ryan Krusemark as the company’s first-ever national sales manager. Global Sales Guys (GSG), the Denver, Colo.-based sales agency, has teamed up with action sports industry veteran Dave Rosenberger for its newly created role of vice president of action outdoor. Residing in Newport Beach, Calif., Rosenberger brings experience as a specialty shop owner, sales rep and senior sales and marketing manager with brands such as Quiksilver and Element. Seirus, leaders in cold weather accessories, announced it is adding new sales representation in two dy- namic regions. Based in Bend, Ore., Snow to Wa- ter Sports Group will represent Seirus in the Northwest region, encompass- ing Washington, Oregon and northern Idaho. Led by Joel Hammond, Snow to Water Sports Group also repre- sents Salomon, Mons Royale, Master Fit Enterprises and Wend Wax. Spe- cializing in softgoods and accesso- ries, Jenna Crane will take the lead on the Seirus account. Led by Dom Schwartz in northern California, the Blue Sky Agency has worked with Seirus in northern Cali- fornia for more than 15 years and will assume oversight of the Lake Tahoe region. In addition to Seirus, Blue Sky also reps Smartwool, Hydroflask, Toad and Co, Obermeyer and Bogs. Later this year, Seirus will deepen its commitment into base layers and rechargeable heated gloves and mit- tens, said the company. Having vet- eran sales reps with deep knowledge of winter products will enhance the brand’s visibility and sales. La Sportiva Adds Southeastern Representation La Sportiva announced that John and Brad Dorough, co-owners of Vertical Momentum Rep Agency, will represent La Sportiva NA in the Southeast, effective immediately. The Doroughs are veteran climbing shoe reps who also have served as long term Petzl reps in both the Sport and Pro markets and repre- sent Goal Zero. Chad Wykle will be joining Vertical Momentum as a senior ex- ecutive, taking the lead on the La Sportiva business in the Southeast.
