Based in California, the Sespe Group represents premium brands in the outdoor industry in- cluding Petzl, SCARPA, Cotopaxi and Outdoor Research. This transi- tion is effective immediately. The Sespe Group is composed of three experienced sales repre- sentatives with core experience in the outdoors – both professionally and personally. Chris Morrisette, principal rep at Sespe Group, has a nearly two-decade long career in the industry. Morrisette grew up in the American Southwest, spending many of his childhood winters in Joshua Tree at his family’s cabin, and he was exposed to rock climbing before he could even walk. Natalie Walker, sales representative at Sespe Group, was introduced to rock climbing nearly 10 years ago, and since then has immersed herself in many out- door activities such as hiking, peak bagging, skiing and alpine climb- ing. Wes Jones, tech rep at Sespe Group, brings more than 16 years of climbing experience to his role. He has worked in the industry as a retail sales rep, tech rep, rope access pro and a climbing guide. “The Southwest territory is a crit- ical market for Big Agnes, with large population centers and high partici- pation in outdoor pursuits, so we partnered with a progressive sales team to work with our accounts to help grow our sales there,” said Jill Lewis, director of North American sales for Big Agnes. Load carriage experts Mystery Ranch announced a partnership with Sea to Summit to be its new distributor in Australia. With new partnerships across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Mystery Ranch expands its reach to fulfill the growing demand for its prod- ucts in the South Pacific. “We are really looking forward to working with the Sea to Summit team,” said Mystery Ranch vice president of sales and marketing, Alex Kutches. “With teams across the nation, ecommerce solutions and distribution centers, Sea to Summit is uniquely able to serve both the consumer as well as the military and fire users currently seeking the brand.” Industrial Revolution, the Se- attle manufacturer and distribu- tor of outdoor accessories, has partnered with Northern Exposure Sporting Group to expand its sales team in Canada. Founded in 2009, the rep group, headed by Shawn Hannah, will cover all Industrial Revolution brands (UCO, Mor- akniv, Esbit and Pedco) in Eastern Canada and the Maritimes. Rossignol Group Adds Rep for Dynastar, Lange Rossignol Group recently welcomed John Segal to lead sales for the Dynastar and Lange brands in the California and Nevada sales territory, effective immediately. Segal will be tasked with supporting current retail partners in the territory while simultane- ously driving sales and category growth for both the Dynastar and Lange brands. Having worked as both a professional boot-fitter and retail store manager, Segal transitioned to the commercial sales side of the industry in 2008 with brands such as Dal- bello and Obermeyer. Most recently he rep- resented a handful of winter sports brands including Kastle Skis and Scott Sports. According to Rossignol, Segal’s efforts will be bolstered by a renewed brand awareness for Dynastar and Lange, including exciting new product launches such as Lange’s first dedicated tour- ing boot, the XT3 Tour, and Dynastar’s award-winning new M-Line collection of freeride skis. Julbo Names VP of U.S. Sales Julbo Eyewear, the premium French eyewear brand based in Longchaumois, France with its subsidiary based in the Green Mountains of Vermont, appointed Rick Randall as vice president of U.S. sales. Randall was formerly national sales manager for Julbo, having been with the brand for a year and a half. “Rick has been a valuable addition to Julbo’s U.S. team and has done an incredible job managing our sales strate- gies. He made sweeping changes to our sales department and showed a true com- mitment to the brand during incredibly challenging times,” said Julbo’s U.S. CEO David Crothers. Prior to his time with Julbo, Randall was Rocky Mountain Bicycles factory sales rep for New England. He has more than a decade of experience as an inde- pendent rep.
