Colorado-based sports drink manufacturer Tailwind Nutrition has ap- pointed Podium Imports to be the exclu- sive Canadian distributor of Tailwind’s Endurance Fuel. The move comes in response to strong regional demand for the brand’s products. Canadian cus- tomers previously had to buy from Tail- wind directly or from retailers who incur steep customs and shipping costs. Podium Imports, a distributor of cycling, running, fitness and nutri- tion products to independent retailers across Canada, was a natural fit for Tailwind. Both companies have deep roots in the bike and run categories. Neskowin Outdoor, the North Amer- ican brand management and distribu- tion firm for U.K.- based technical ap- parel brand Montane, has announced the expansion of the brand’s North America sales presence.  Jake Linford of Gear Sling will serve the Pacific Northwest and Cen- tral to Northern California territories, while Canice Harte of Grit Group will take on the Rocky Mountains. Nick and Amanda Robinson with Core Goods will manage Montane’s pres- ence in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast territories. Linford and Andrew Stone of Gear Sling will cover Alaska, Wash., Ore., Idaho, and Mont. Grit Group, a firm headed by industry veteran, avid adventure racer and runner Harte, will cover the Rocky Mountain region, including Colo., Utah, N.M. and Wyo. KAVU recently welcomed Steve Skidmore and Jeremy Goodman to its global executive team, as chief finance director and international sales director. Skidmore is responsible for guiding the company’s budgeting and profit- ability as it works to expand into more international markets. Prior to KAVU, he spent 12 years working in the same capacity at Ex Officio. Goodman returns to the company as international sales director after an ex- tended sabbatical. In his newly created role, Goodman will focus on sales strat- egy and distribution in the European Union, Asia Pacific and South America. Before taking a leave of absence to travel the world, he was the Northwest sales director. He now lives in Spain where he will be based. Jim Kaiser named as New England Rep for Kokatat Jim Kaiser of Brunswick, Maine, has taken over Kokatat’s sales representa- tive duties for the New England territory. Kaiser – owner of Kaiser Associ- ates – has been a paddlesports sales representative since 2001. He as- sumes the New England territory after the departure of Suzanne Hutchinson, who is moving to the West Coast. Kaiser adds Kokatat to a brand lineup that includes Wenonah Canoes, Cur- rent Designs Kayaks, Boardworks SUPs and Point 65. McClain to Represent Vibram in New England Vibram announced a distribution partnership with Matt McClain to repre- sent Vibram Finished Goods across all of New England. “Partnering with Matt gives us the resources to scale up the level of ser- vice that we are able to provide our dealers in the Northeast,” stated Chris Melton, director of sales and distribu- tion for Vibram USA. McClain also currently represents Pig & Hen. Orange Mud Adds SoCal, Canadian Reps Orange Mud has added Steve Acciarito to represent the brand in Southern California to retail partners, events, clubs and teams. Orange Mud is also adding a Cana- dian distribution team. Swim Bike Run Distribution will join the Orange Mud family out of Kelowna, B.C. Swim Bike Run Distribution is a Canadian distribu- tor and sales agency focused on new and innovative research-driven mul- tisport brands.
