Trim- mer, who is based in Seattle, Wash., brings more than 10 years of experience in wholesale, retail, key account management and distribu- tion, growing portfolios of more than $20 million, said LifeStraw. Trimmer will lead the sales efforts in North America, working to establish new retail channels and expand existing long-term partner- ships. In addition, he will lead and support LifeStraw sales representatives’ while supporting LifeStraw’s “Give Back Through Retail” initia- tives that leverage revenues from product sales to provide clean water to communities in need around the world. Most recently, Trimmer drove chan- nel development efforts for brand launches with a cycling startup and distribution com- panies within the outdoor and sporting goods channel. “Troy’s proven track re- cord of channel development and growth paired with his expertise in analyzing mar- ket trends and opportunities makes him an ideal fit,” said Alison Hill, managing direc- tor of LifeStraw. “His unique skill set will be a strong asset in introducing the LifeStraw brand to new retailers and to engage more consumers. LifeStraw Names National Sales Manager POC Adds Regional Sales Manager and Reps POC, a Utah-based manufacturer of ski, snow- boarding and cycling helmets, eyewear, apparel and protection, announced several new hires to bolster sales efforts and service in key territories. Jessie Fallentine, eastern regional sales manager, will now oversee snow and bike sales for accounts east of the Mississippi. Fallentine, who joined POC this summer, most recently served as Gregory Mountain Products’ sales operations manager. She will work out of POC’s Park City, Utah office. Kyle Cleveland and Chase Crane were hired as territory managers for New England and Inter- mountain, respectively, and will manage snow and bike sales for each region. Chris Quinn will serve the Mid-Atlantic region as an independent sales representative, managing snow sales only.
