Sheboygan, Wisc-based Wigwam Mills announced that its Board of Directors has named apparel and consumer goods veteran Thomas M. Wheeler as company president and CEO.
Robert E. Chesebro, Chairman of the Board said, “We are delighted that Tom is joining Wigwam. He is a talented, visionary business leader with a complete set of creative, strategic and analytical skills to grow a leading apparel brand in a highly competitive and evolving global landscape.
Mr. Wheeler said: “I have long admired the Wigwam Brand and its leading position in the sock market and I am excited to lead this iconic company. I have great respect for what the Wigwam team has accomplished during their long and accomplished history, and look forward to leveraging Wigwam’s strong foundation to expand the brand into new markets over time while remaining true to the brand’s core values and customer base.”
