Last week, a new VAUDE Store opened in Lindau at Lake Constance/Germany operated by the franchise partner Wolfgang Jehle. The European mountain sports brand is showcasing its entire collection across the 115-square-meter location.
Extending its efforts toward sustainability, natural FSC-certified ash wood creates an easy-going, natural atmosphere at the store, says the company, Dressing room curtains are made out of leftover materials from VAUDE production, and electricity comes from renewable sources, while energy-efficient LED lighting minimizes consumption.
To prepare for the opening, which sits in close proximity to the busy shopping center Lindaupark, several “rope teams” in colorful VAUDE gear distributed opening weekend flyers drawing attention to the event. On the evening of the opening, the Store team and VAUDE employees celebrated with invited guests. A highlight was the captivating film presentation “Mountain Biking Off the Beaten Path” by Axel Kreuter from the Vertrider Team sponsored by VAUDE.
The Lindau location marks the 13th VAUDE sore in Germany.
