Although some may say “Ugh” at the unconventional looks. Teva and UGG, both divisions of Deckers Brands, have unveiled a new collection that takes cues from each brands footwear heritage. Delivering what Decker calls “quirky-cool hybrids that are designed to take on the urban trail,” the Teva x UGG collection comes from two brands that were born around the water but evolved to more, combining the river utility of Teva and the surf inspired beach-chic of UGG.
Available for a limited time in two signature styles – the Sandal and the Hybrid – the Teva x UGG collection is offered Black Iris, Dark Gull Gray, White, Navy and Burnt Olive. The sporty Sandal silhouette retails for $175, while the Hybrid mid-calf height iteration retails for $225. Employing the Teva brand’s universal strapping system and Hurricane sandal footbed, the collection features a microfiber topsole and utilizes materials including neoprene, plush sheepskin, and the UGG brand’s UGGpure wool.
