Sherpa Adventure Gear announced the appointment of Andy Welling as the brand’s vice president of sale for North America. Welling will have a key role in executing the commercial strategy while being the primary interface between the brand and the sales force, said the company, and work directly with the marketing and product teams.
Welling is a veteran of the outdoor apparel industry, having spent more than 25 years working with brands such as Kelty, The North Face, Patagonia and Marmot.
“We are beyond thrilled to have the experience and expertise that Andy brings with him to Sherpa,” says Tsedo Sherpa-Ednalino chief operating officer of Sherpa Adventure Gear. “Andy will be a key player to continue the upward trajectory of the Sherpa brand here in North America and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the family.”
