Polar Bottle Research Confirms US Consumers Value USA Made

Recent research conducted by Boston Consulting Group shows today’s consumers value and place a considerable premium on USA made products. These findings align with a recent study carried out for Polar Bottle by national research firm Research Insights. In this study, 74% of general retail customers said it was “Very important” or “Important” to them that products like water bottles were Made in the USA.

“It’s good to see that US and international consumers and more and more retailers are joining with us in recognizing that there is a special value to buying Made in the USA products,” says Judy Amabile, Polar Bottle President.

“We never seriously considered making our brands outside the USA. It’s an important part of our value system to know we are avoiding the environmental damage of shipping product long distances, while creating living wage jobs here and supporting our community. But there have also been substantial business benefits,” she says. Such benefits include being able to turn around and restock even large custom orders quickly with no dependence on overseas suppliers or shipping schedules and greater control over quality.

Polar Bottle is one of 30 companies whose products are featured in a new Made in the USA showcase at Outdoor Retailer and Judy Amabile will be on the panel at the OIA Made in America seminar scheduled for August 7.
