Osprey Packs CEO Tom Barney is stepping down. Barney will remain with Osprey until October 28, and the company expects to announce the appointment of the next CEO before year’s end.
“Under Tom’s excellent leadership and direction, Osprey experienced significant sales growth and a broad increase in its retail and distribution partners. He helped establish Osprey as not only a leader in the outdoor industry, but also an excellent business partner,” said Mike Pfotenhauer, founder and owner of Osprey Packs. “All of us at Osprey want to thank Tom for his years of service and wish him and his family the best in their future endeavors.”
