Nathan Deploys Locally Shopping Service

Running accessory brand Nathan announced its partnership with Locally. The performance brand will utilize Locally’s on-site engagement tools to help guide NathanSports.com visitors into completing their purchase at a local store. Nathan is utilizing Locally’s flagship tools: a nearby Product Locator and the managed Dealer Locator.

Nathan’s new Locally Product Locator now shows a shopper viewing a specific item which nearby store has that exact item, including the desired color and size, in stock. If a given product isn’t in stock nearby, the locator recommends related styles that are available at retailers in close proximity. To ensure the most up-to-date information is available, the Product Locator is powered by retailer inventory feeds provided at least once a day, and in some cases, in real-time.

According to Locally president, Mike Massey, “The Product Locator serves the type of shopper that is on a brand site to learn about their products and take notes, but ultimately wants to hold an item or ask questions before completing their purchase in-store. There’s no more powerful way to serve this ‘online-to-offline’ shopper, and lock them into purchasing your brand, than through our Product Locator technology.”

Nathan’s leverage of the Dealer Locator – powered by Locally’s OpenStoreFront data harmonization engine – will help the brand present the most accurate store information to shoppers. The Dealer Locator shows shoppers what’s in stock at each store and lets them complete a purchase, either by putting a product on hold for in-store purchase or paying online for in-store pickup.

“For years, we’ve wanted a way to show retailer inventory on our website, to provide our shoppers with a complete array of options for completing their purchase,” said Brent Hollowell, VP of Marketing at Nathan.
