Dick’s Opens Three Stores This Weekend

This weekend, Dick’s Sporting Goods will be celebrating grand openings of its 13th store in Wisconsin, it’ 10th store in Minnesota, and its 41st store in Pennsylvania. The openings, taking place Friday August 12 through Sunday August 14, will bring Dick’s store count to 653 nationwide.

The Wisconsin store is located in Wausau at Wausau, at 4600 Rib Mountain Drive. Former Green Bay Safety and inventor of the Lambeau Leap LeRoy Butler will appear in-store on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Former Green Bay running back Ahman Green will make an in-store appearance on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Minnesota door is located at the Marketplace Shopping Center in Waite Park, Minn., (40 2nd Street S). Former Minnesota first baseman Kent Hrbek will make an in-store appearance from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The Pennsylvania door is located at Hamilton Crossing in Trexlertown, Pa., (707 North Krocks Road). Former wide receiver Andre Reed will make an in-store appearance from 1 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The three-day Grand Opening celebration will run through Sunday, August 14. The stores will open at 8:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday. Saturday and Sunday giveaways at each location include a free Mystery Gift Card for the first 100 adults in line. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday will also get a chance to open the DICK’S Sporting Goods Gift Locker.
