Cabela’s Incorporated is honoring Hometown Heroes in conjunction with Veterans Day at all U.S. store locations. The events take place through Veteran’s Day, November, 11, and offer active military and veterans, law-enforcement, firefighters and emergency services personnel discount pricing on in-store purchases.
As a way of honoring Hometown Heroes, and as a thank you for their service, Cabela’s will offer a discount of 5 percent on any in-stock firearms and a 10-percent discount on other in-store products at all U.S. locations, including sale and clearance items. A valid military ID, badge or other proof of eligibility must be presented at the time of purchase to receive the discount.
“Our Hometown Heroes event is a way for us to thank those who live their lives, or a part of their lives, in service to the rest of us,” said Tommy Millner, Cabela’s Chief Executive Officer.
Cabela’s intends to honor Hometown Heroes with similar events in the future. Currently, Cabela’s offers its everyday Legendary Salute discount of 5 percent to active military and veterans.
