AspectSolar Launches More Efficient EP-60 Solar Panel

AspectSolar, the makers of the International CES-Award Winning SunSocket Solar Generator and the

EnergyBar 250, announced the launch of its latest solar panel: the EP-60. Spring-boarding off the success of the EP-55, the EP-60 improves upon the lightweight, plug-and-play design of its predecessor, while increasing the efficiency and charging power, says the company.

AspectSolar will debut the EP-60 at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2014 in Salt Lake City, August 6-9, 2014.

“The EP-60 is the next step in AspectSolar’s continued dedication to producing the highest-quality solar power products,” said Esmond Goei, President and CEO of AspectSolar. “With a more powerful and more efficient solar panel, customers can now experience the freedom to be fully charged a lot faster, no matter where life takes them.”

Retaining the thin size that the EP-55 was known for, the EP-60 provides a more efficient and powerful package, capable of charging the EnergyBar 250 in as little as 7 hours. The EP-60 features Monocrystalline

Silicone solar panels, and has a power rating of 60 watts. The high-quality construction and components gives the EP-60 up to 22.4% efficiency.

As with many of the AspectSolar family of solar panels, the EP-60 features AspectSolar’s proprietary

Maximum Power Point Tracking technology. This key benefit allows the EP-60 user to continually track the sun throughout the sky, drawing the most efficient amount of energy at any time from the solar rays into the panels. LED lights on the EP-60 light up, letting the user known when the solar panel can be positioned in an optimal position.

The EP-60 will be featured as part of the Solar Power Pro 60 and Solar Power Plus 60 Packages, and will also be available as a stand-alone product as well. The EP-60 retails for $349.99.
