Arc’teryx Veilance Opens NYC Concept Shop

Arc’teryx Veilance, the Canadian outdoor apparel company’s urban brand, announced plans to open a pop-up concept store at 81 Greene Street in New York City from October 28, 2016 to January 8, 2017. The installation represents the company’s first Veilance seasonal concept store.

This season, Veilance grouped its minimalist designs to provide Wind, Rain and Cold protection systems. In turn, The 2,000 square feet space is organized in three distinct sections to reflect the Arc’teryx Veilance protective systems against wind, rain and cold. Design firm Snarkitecture created a space that highlights Veilance’s multiple apparel solutions.

“The geometrically-inspired layout and division of space directs visitors through an unexpected abstracted landscape, as they explore the Veilance collection,” said the company. “The play between the precise architectural forms and the excavated handmade surfaces, echoes the origins of Arc’teryx Veilance. Meanwhile, the space’s minimalist palette reflects the aesthetic of the collection.”
